Giving Thanks

As we approach one of the most hectic seasons of the year, both in our personal lives and in business, we could use a reminder to slow down. Fortunately, Thanksgiving gives us a chance to breathe for moment. Not only were most of us (Americans) able to take time to enjoy the comforts of home and food yesterday, but we had the opportunity to say thank you. We would like to use our moment – albeit on the day after Thanksgiving – to share what we are thankful for with you.

Morgan – I have so much to be thankful for this year, including amazing family and friends (and cats), but I will attempt to keep this quick and let you get back to your leftovers. I am thankful for my wonderful mother who not only supported me when I decided to leave my full-time job and start my own business, but who was a part of the plan and is now my partner in crime. I am also thankful for my father who supported us along every step of the journey, and always has in everything we undertake. Lastly, I am thankful for my partner in life, a man who has also supported me throughout a shifting landscape. He is funny, smart and sweet, and I am lucky to have him in my life.

Dindy – I’ll keep my thanks short too, cause I could go on and on…I am most thankful for my patient, talented and beautiful daughter. She is young enough to believe that everything is possible, talented enough to make everything possible, and patient enough to instill belief in me too! I am also thankful for my husband, her aforementioned father, who indeed is supportive of our ventures as we are of his. I am thankful for my son and his wife who are happy, healthy and always willing to proof or offer suggestions. I am also thankful for my entire family, sisters, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews who make my life rich and warm. And then there’s our office helper, Rocky – his doggy kisses make every day a joy.

What are you thankful for this year?
